Traffic

Turbine delivery and heavy goods movements will access the site via an appropriate route, in consultation with the Highways Agency and Oxfordshire County Council, so as to minimise disruption to local settlements.

One possible route is via the M40 (jn. 10), south and west along the A34, west on the B430 and right into Ardley Road. Access to the site would be via the minor road at grid reference SP 536 282.

There will be ongoing consultation with the local highways authority and the police to discuss the approach to routing, timing and escort arrangements of construction traffic to ensure safe and efficient operations.
